The new series, titled “Time of Creativity and Inspiration,” was dedicated to the ancient Ukrainian amulet. These classes were specifically organised for the children of Ukrainian refugees living at the Oselya hotel.
During the first class on March 22, the teacher, Halyna Rodionova, delivered an engaging lecture on the history and various types of textile dolls. After that, the children independently crafted the simplest doll known as “A Little Broom.” The children were delighted with their creations.
In the next class on March 29, the children delved further into the exploration of the creative possibilities of the Motanka Doll, an ancient Ukrainian amulet. This time, they crafted a more intricate figure. Such meticulous work fosters finger dexterity, creative abilities, and artistic discernment.
On April 6, at the request of the children who were unable to attend the previous session, teacher Halyna Rodionova repeated the lesson. The cozy lobby of the Oselya hotel once again served as the setting for crafting the simplest type of the ancient Ukrainian talisman.
All necessary materials for the workshops and tea-time treats were generously provided by the charitable organization RefugeesMeetup.
Нова серія занять проекту «Час творчості та натхнення» присвячена старовинному українському оберегу ляльці-мотанці. Заняття проводились для дітей українських біженців, що мешкають в готелі «Оселя».
На першому занятті 22 березня викладачка Галина Родіонова, як завжди захопливо розказала про історію та основні види тканинної ляльки. Після цього діти власноруч зробили найпростішу з них, що має назву «Мітелочка». Кожна дитина раділа з того, яка лялька у неї вийшла.
На наступному занятті 29 березня діти продовжили знайомитись з особливостями виготовлення старовинного українського оберегу «Лялька-мотанка». На цей раз вони робили більш деталізовану фігурку. Така копітка робота розвиває моторику пальців рук, а також допомагає розвити творчі навички та художній смак.
6 квітня вчителька Галина Родіонова повторила заняття на прохання дітей, що не змогли прийти минулого разу. У затишному фойє готелю «Оселя» вони знову «мотали» найпростіший вид старовинного українського оберегу.
